BALL STATE TOP PERFORMANCES
100 Free: 54.23
200 Free: 1:56.18
2021-22: swam the season’s fastest times in the 50 freestyle (25.61), the 200 freestyle (1:58.16), and the 100 butterfly (1:00.68) at the Indiana Intercollegiate and the 100 freestyle (54.45) versus Toledo.
2020-21: Placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:57.02) versus Eastern Illinois…swam the season’s fastest times at the MAC Championship meet in the 50 freestyle (24.74), the 100 freestyle (53.87), versus Xavier in the 200 freestyle (1:56.18), versus Eastern Illinois in the 500 freestyle (5:14.58), and versus Bellarmine in the 100 backstroke (1:00.77).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Frontier Central High School and swam under coach Philip Aronica … four-time state qualifier and four-time team MVP … earned team captain honors her senior season … placed first in 100 free at NYSPHSAA Section 6 Class A Championships with a time of 52.80 as a senior … also placed 2nd in 200 IM at the same event with a time of 2:09.22 … five-time ECIC AA champion and ECIC AA MVP … holds six school records (200 free, 500 free, 200 IM, 100 fly, 200 free relay, 400 free relay).
CLUB: Swam for STAR Swimming for nine years … three-time NCSA Junior National qualifier … helped lead the team to be 2019 Long Course Championships winners.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jennifer and Jonathan Pawli … has one brother and one sister … studying elementary and special education.
WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because I thought I would fit into the swim program nicely and be able to contribute to the team.
