2019: Appeared in 27 matches and played in 91 sets... earned MIVA Player of the Week honors after an 11 block performance in a win over nationally ranked Cal State Northridge... totaled 73 kills while hitting .305... chipped in six assists, 10 service aces and 16 digs... compiled 81 blocks for the year... finished with 127.5 points... named to the Academic All-MIVA Team.
2018: Competed in seven matches for the Cardinals… knocked down four kills and one service ace… also added three digs and two blocks on the season
2017: Saw action in two matches… marked one kills and one dig against Erskine… tallied one kill in the victory over NJIT
2016: Redshirt for the Cardinals in his freshman year.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter winner under coaches Chris Curry and Charles Mann at Vernon Hills ... entered his senior season at Vernon Hills after being named to first team All-Conference two years running ... set team record for most blocks in a game (8) and most blocks in a season (130) in his sophomore season ... was a two-time All-Area athlete in the Daily Herald ... helped his team on the way of becoming conference champions in 2014 and regional champions in 2013 ... in the volleyball off-season, Turner also plays as a center for the basketball team, where he earned the record of most blocks in a game (6) three times.
PERSONAL: Son of Lonnell and Luz Turner ... has three brothers, Lorenzo, Luke and Leo ... born in Vernon Hills, Ill. on June 28, 1997 ... plans to major in business.
