Cameron (Cam) is the son of Carlos and Angela Gray. Cam has four biological siblings and six step siblings. He is studying Exercise Science.
Started playing volleyball: 8th grade
Favorite Volleyball memory: Winning Nationals my 17s club year
Favorite trip you’ve been on/what is one place you dream of visiting: I dream of visiting Spain
Favorite food: French toast
Dream job: Working as a physical therapist
Plans after college: Earn a doctorate degree and assist a women’s college team
What sport would you be playing if you were not playing volleyball: Gymnastics
2025: Played in 26-of-30 matches … bested his career-high digs in a single match with 13 versus Penn St. (March 15) ... averaged1.04 digs per set, totaling 97 … earned Academic All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association honors and CSC Academic All-District.
2024: Played in 28-of-31 matches ... finished with 1.13 digs per set, reaching a career-high of 10 digs in a single match against Stanford (Jan. 20)… earned Academic All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association honors.
High School/Club: Prior to Ball State, Cameron achieved great success in club, winning USAV Nationals his 17’s year as well as being named an All-American the following year representing Team Florida in USAV’s Region All-Star’s event. Additionally, Cameron led his Freedom High School to state runner-up as well as being named to the 2022 all-metro first team.
