2011-12 (Fr.): Earned first letter at Ball State ... competed in 11 meets for the Cardinals ... turned in career-fast times in the 50 free (22.49), 100 free (50.25) and 100 fly (52.89) at the Mid-American Conference Championships (March 1) ... swam the 100 fly in 53.53 versus Eastern Illinois (Jan. 13) ... his second-best 50 free of the season came versus Miami (Jan. 28) ... clocked in at 52.43 in the 100 free at the EMU Invitational (Jan. 2).
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Tom Parks at Rockford High School … three-year letterwinner … established a program record in the 200 medley relay … posted career-best times in the 100 fly (52.40) and 50 free (22.78) … placed 13th in the 100 fly and second in the 200 medley relay at state championships as a junior, earning all-state and all-conference honors … placed sixth in the 100 fly and second in the 200 medley as a senior to earn all-conference and all-state accolades.
