2007-08 (Jr.): BSU’s top performer in the 400 IM, clocking a 4:14.31 at the Sun Belt/Mid-American Conference Championships (2/28) . . . led the Cardinals in the 1000 free (9:56.79), while ranking second in both the 500 free (4:39.93) and the 1650 free (16:22.07) . . . also ranked fourth on the squad in the 200 IM (2:02.11).

2006-07 (So.): All-MAC Second Team selection . . . placed fourth in the 400 IM at the MAC Championships (2/22) with a clocking of 4:03.95 . . . also added a seventh place finish in the 1650 free (16:00.71) and a ninth place finish in the 500 free (4:36.16) at the league meet . . . his 16:00.71 in the 1650 free ranks as the third-best individual time in program history, while his prelim clocking of 4:03.84 in the 400 IM ties as the third-best individual time in BSU annals.

2005-06 (Fr.): Placed seventh in the 1650 Freestyle (16:03.79) and 12th in the 400 IM (4:07.45) at the MAC Championships (3/2) . . . his 1650 free effort was the third-best clocking in school history until he broke the mark his sophomore season . . . his 14th-place time of 4:39.45 in the 500 free at the MAC meet was a BSU season-best clocking, as was his 1000 free time of 9:48.58 at Ohio (2/4) . . . also ranked third on the team in the 200 IM (2:01.00).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters at Northridge for Coach Joe Keller . . . four-time first team all-conference selection . . . ended high school career with school records in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay . . . state qualifier as a senior, finished fourth in the 400 free relay, fifth in the 200 IM, ninth in the 200 free relay and 13th in the 500 free . . . sectional champion in the 500 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay as a senior . . . posted personal-best times of 1:55.22 in the 200 IM, 4:45.6 in the 500 freestyle, 55.7 in the 100 backstroke, 17:15 in the 1500 freestyle, and 10:01 in the 800 freestyle.

PERSONAL: Majoring in technology education . . . born Oct. 26, 1986 in Elkhart, Ind. . . . married to the former Brittany Mishler, who was a three-year letterwinner for the Ball State women’s swimming & diving team from 2004-06 . . . the couple has a two-year old son, Madox . . . son of Scott and Lori Hembree . . . younger brother Travis is currently a freshman on the Ball State swimming & diving team.
