2015-16 (JUNIOR): Named to the All-Mid-American Conference First Team . . . Shared MAC Men’s Tennis Co-Player of Year honors, becoming only the seventh Cardinal in program history to receive MAC Player of the Year since it started in 1997 . . . Received MAC Player of the Week (3/10) and MAC Doubles Team of the Week (2/11) . . . Finished the season with a 19-13 overall mark . . . Led the team in MAC action with a 6-1 conference ledger . . . Received individual Intercollegiate Scholar-Athlete accolades and Academic All-MAC honors after posting a 3.793 grade point average . . . Named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team while also earning individual honors . . . Ended the season with the second best overall record on the team with a 20-13 mark . . . Led the team in MAC victories with a 4-1 ledger . . . Ended the season with a five-match win streak from April 1 to April 19 . . . Had the best doubles record on the team with a 16-5 overall record alongside teammate Patrick Elliott.
2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team . . . Member of the 2014 All-MAC Tournament Team . . . Earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team and individual honors . . . Andersen's three-set singles win on court three at the 2014 MAC Tournament clinched a 4-3 victory for the third-seeded Ball State men's tennis team over fourth-seed Buffalo in the championship match at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center (4/27), which is the 38th MAC regular season or tournament championship in the 42-year tenure of Bill Richards . . . He also contributed to the Cardinals eighth NCAA Tournament appearance . . . Finished the season by posting the best overall dual mark on the squad with a 17-5 record . . . Earned a 4-0 ledger in MAC action . . . Went 11-4 at the three spot and 6-0 at No. 4 singles . . . Ended the season with a nine match win streak from March 27 to May 9.
HIGH SCHOOL: Andersen comes to Ball State from Center Grove High School where he garnered First Team All-State honors in 2011 and 2012. He was ranked No. 116 in the class of 2013 and was a four-star recruit according to the website tennisrecruiting.net, additionally he was the No. 2 ranked senior in the state of Indiana.
PERSONAL: Son of Kim Andersen and Martha Andersen, born on October 4, 1994 in Evansville, Indiana . . . one brother Conner Andersen plays tennis at Ball State.
