COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ball State track team completed two-thirds of its double-meet weekend on Saturday, finishing day two of activity at the Jesse Owens Classic, hosted by Ohio State University. Conducted at venerable Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, the Cardinals got career-best efforts from freshmen Anisa Barnett and Lily Eagleston, and junior Ayla Rice.

Top finishes on Saturday came from junior Lauren Graham who finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles, and Barnett with a sixth-place leap in the triple jump. Other top-ten finishes came from Eagleston who finished 10th behind Graham in the 100m hurdles, and high jumpers Nina Garner and Malina Miller whose 1.70 height was good for third and fifth place, respectively.

With one meet remaining prior to hosting the Mid-American Conference Championships, May 14-16 at Briner Sports Complex, the Cardinals travel a small unit to Duke University on Sunday to compete in the Duke Twilight.
