Malina Miller Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete

MUNCIE, Ind.— Malina Miller has been named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Athlete, as announced by the organization yesterday.
This award is aimed to highlight success in the classroom and on the track, two things Miller has exceled at receiving this honor for the second straight year.
In order to be eligbile for the award, athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0-scale. Athletes must also have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Indoor or Outdoor Track and Field Championships or finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or West for the most recent indoor or outdoor season. They also must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the certifying institution.
Miller, who just finished her junior year, is majoring in landscape architechture. She also qualified for the NCAA East First Round in the high jump, She finished in 24th place with a height of 1.76 meters.
