MVB Signs Niels Torrellas Storm Van Leeuwen to 2027 Roster

MUNCIE, Ind. – As the Ball State men's volleyball program continues its 2026 postseason run through the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament, the Cardinals reveal the signing of outside hitter Niels Torrellas Storm Van Leeuwen to its 2027 roster, announced by head coach Mike Iandolo.
A six-foot-five native of Barcelona, Spain, Van Leeuwen has spent the last nine years developing his skills at FC Barcelona as he represents the Spanish U17 National Team that earned a fourth-place finish at the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball Boy's U17 World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2024.
