April 08, 2025 | Men's Basketball
The Ball State men's basketball team has announced the signing of Iowa State transfer Kayden Fish in advance of the 2025-26 season.
Fish, a 6-foot-6 forward from Kansas City, Mo., saw action in nine games last season for the Cyclones, who went 25-10 and 13-7 in the Big 12 Conference. Fish scored six points and grabbed three rebounds on the season.
The rising redshirt sophomore will have three years of eligibility remaining after playing in four games and being awarded a medical redshirt in 2023-24.
Fish was a three-star recruit and the No. 37 power forward in his class by Rivals out of Staley High School where he scored more than 1,000 career points. He was also a three-star and the No. 6 prospect in the state of Missouri by 247 Sports.
This is Ball State's first incoming transfer of the offseason. Clayton, N.C., high school forward Preston Copeland signed with the Cardinals back in November.
