Men's Basketball Signs Temple Transfer Babatunde Durodola
May 04, 2026 | Men's Basketball
The Ball State men's basketball team and head coach Chris Capko have announced the addition of Temple transfer Babatunde Durodola to the program.
The 6-foot-8 forward out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada will be a junior as he joins the team ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Durodola played in all 32 games in 2025-26 for the Owls, making nine starts, and averaged 4.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 19.3 minutes per game. He sported a 49.5 percent (54-109) shooting mark from the field and 75.8 percent (47-62) at the foul line.
As a freshman at Temple during the 2024-25 season, Durodola was the only player on the team to start in each of the 32 games on the schedule, and he averaged 4.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game while shooting 48.6 percent (53-109) from the field. Durodola will enter his junior season with 304 points, 247 rebounds, 71 assists, 26 block and 22 steals in his collegiate career.
This is Ball State's sixth incoming transfer of the offseason after K'Jei Parker (UMass), Aaron Fine (Purdue), Javion Guy-King (Central Arkansas), Jaden Smith (Saint Joseph's) and Trey Lewis (Western Michigan) signed with the team earlier.
