Three-Time All-American Jenelle Rogers Takes Part in NCAA Indoor Championships

MUNCIE, Ind. – Jenelle Rogers will represent Ball State at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the pentathlon on Friday, Mar. 14, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Rogers competed in the pentathlon twice this season, at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational (Jan. 31) and the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships (Feb. 28), winning each time. Her score of 4,188 points at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invite was Rogers's qualifying mark into the NCAA Indoor Championships, ranking her 14th in going into the this week's event.
Last season, Rogers competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships, recording the highest pentathlon score of her career at 4,430 points. She finished the event as runner-up, only 67 points from first place.
Friday's competition will open at 9:35 a.m. with the 60-meter hurdles. The full schedule of events can be found here. Streaming will air on the ESPN family of networks.
