Ball State men's tennis long-time head coach Bill Richards announced the signing of Indiana native Broc Fletcher (Carmel, Ind./Carmel High School) for the 2022-23 season.
Fletcher joins fellow freshman Jacks Lancaster (Bowling Green, Ky./Greenwood High School) who signed in November.
"We're excited to announce the signing of Broc," Richards said. "He had a great high school career at Carmel and has really elevated his play in USTA junior tournaments this winter and spring as evidenced by his current national ranking. He is a great competitor, very hard worker, and excellent student. I am looking forward to working with him and having him as a part of our program. He has an outstanding future ahead of him."
Fletcher, a standout at Carmel High School, played on the top court in singles as a junior and senior collecting a 52-6 overall record. Fletcher helped guide the Greyhounds to win four state titles along with an unblemished team record in all four years he competed with Blue and Gold.
A two-time First Team All-State selection in singles, Fletcher comes to Ball State as a four-star recruit according to recruiting.net and currently holds a 136th-national ranking for the class of 2022.
