"I'm very happy Drew has decided to come to Ball State to continue his education and tennis career," Richards said. "I was very impressed with his ability when I saw him play in Kalamazoo last summer. He has had a good Junior career in USTA tournaments playing in the very tough Texas section of the USTA. His rankings and results are good but most importantly he has the talent to continue to improve. Drew is a hard worker and a good competitor and I feel he is a good fit for our program. He is also an outstanding student. I look forward to his contributions to our team as well as the opportunity to work with him."
