Women's S&D Open #MACtion Versus Bowling Green

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State women's swimming & diving program participates in its first Mid-American Conference dual of the 2024-25 season as they welcome Bowling Green to the Lewellen Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

When these two conference adversaries last met in dual action Oct. 29, 2022, the Cardinals secured six event wins but ultimately fell to the Falcons 174.5-124.5. The Ball State women also totaled seven runner-up finishes at the meet.

Graduate student Laura Wright stamped a first-place win in the 200 breaststroke, while juniors Alyssa Messenger and Kiran Stauffer claimed the top spot in the 200 backstroke and 1000 freestyle. Senior Hannah Jones contributed to the team's win total, picking up her own victory in the 100 butterfly that afternoon.
