Women's S&D Places 20 on 2026 Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND – The Ball State women's swimming and diving program placed 20 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team as announced by the league Thursday morning.
Of Ball State's 20 honorees, seniors Payton Kelly, Alyssa Messenger, Haley Sakbun, Kiran Stauffer, and Callie Tuma were named for the third time.
Six Cardinals were named for the second time, including juniors Leelah Fettig, Natalie Marshall, Julia Ofman, Alexa Von Holtz and senior Hannah Justice.
Earning the honor for the first time in their careers were sophomores Ava Butterfield, Savannah Farlee, Lauren Fecher, Anna Keen, Tommy-Anne Marriott, Maya McDonald, Olivia Owens, and McKenna Potteiger. Also earning the award for the first time were juniors Ava Pavich and Ella Penny.
A total of 151 student-athletes earned the Academic All-MAC distinction in women's swimming & diving by maintaining at least a 3.2 GPA and participating in at least half of the team's contests for the season. First-year students and any college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
