Cardinals Host Annual FAN JAM for Area Families

Food, Games, Music and Fun all are FREE on Aug. 10 at Scheumann Stadium

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State University department of athletics hosts its annual FAN JAM presented by Ruoff Mortgage, on Saturday, Aug. 10 at Scheumann Stadium, in anticipation of back-to-school calendars for area families and the fall sports schedules for Cardinals sports teams.

Kids and families from Muncie and surrounding school districts are welcomed at 6:30 p.m. for food, games, music, fun, activities and autographs involving athletes from Ball State's fall sports teams including football, volleyball, field hockey and cross country. Each sport area will have skills contests and games for kids on the stadium turf. The event will end at 8:00 p.m.

Parking and entry at the stadium both are free of charge. Approximately 1,000 youngsters took part in the 2022 FAN JAM, the last time the event was conducted. Last year's event was canceled due to inclement weather.
