
Kaitlyn Molin Named New Coach of Code Red

A Ball State graduate and a native of Shelbyville, Indiana, Katlyn Molin has been named coach of the Code Red Dance Team.
Molin trained in tap, jazz, and hip-hop for 15 years before attending Ball State where she was a team member and captain of the Code Red and the Outlet Hip Hop Troupe. She also was a student worker in the athletic communications office.
After graduation, Kaitlyn was an Indianapolis Colts cheerleader for five seasons. While on the team, she was voted as the 2024 Pro Bowl Cheerleader, 2024 Cheerleader of the Year and the 2019 Rookie of the Year. She served as a team captain for three seasons, led the team's recruitment initatives and was selected to represent the team on three military tours. During her time with Colts Cheer, she choreographed game day material for the team, as well as collegiate clinics, choreography camps and the IHSDTA Clinic.
She has spent the last three seasons as a Code Red assistant coach. Outside of coaching, she works with high school and studio teams across Indiana, choreographing competition pom and hip-hop routines and works full-time as a program advisor at Riley Children's Foundation.Â
