Ball State Athletics Invites Muncie Community to Exclusive Two-Day Engagement Event at Delaware Country Club

CARDINAL WHITE INVITE GOLF OUTING REGISTRATION
MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State Athletics is rolling out the red carpet for the Muncie community this August with an exciting two-day engagement event. Hosted by Athletics Director Jeff Mitchell and the Cardinal staff, the festivities kick off Thursday, Aug. 6, with an evening social and conclude Friday, Aug. 7, with the inaugural Cardinal and White Invite golf outing. Both events will take place at the Delaware Country Club.

Cardinal fans, residents, and supporters are encouraged to secure their spots early to connect directly with Ball State coaches, staff, and fellow community members.

"As we prepare for the 2026-27 season, we are excited to invite our community to interact with our coaches and staff at both the Sip and Chip and Cardinal and White events," Mitchell said. "We look forward to sharing these fun opportunities with our fans! Go Cardinals!"

Thursday, Aug. 6: Sip and Chip Social (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET)
The weekend begins with an interactive evening of entertainment, refreshments, and casual golf instruction.
•           Golf Instruction: Ladies in attendance can enjoy a short game clinic hosted by    PGA Head Golf Professional, Nick Ary, and his staff, while sipping on refreshments.
•           Evening Social: Guests can enjoy a curated social experience featuring premium bourbon tastings and local cigar favorites.
•           Entertainment: Enjoy live music from the Mason and Vaughn Project alongside complimentary appetizers.
•           Silent Auction: A sign-up sheet auction will open during the evening, featuring exclusive items and experiences.

Friday, Aug. 7: The Cardinal and White Invite
The excitement moves to the course on Friday for a premier tournament experience.
•           11:30 AM ET: Registration opens and lunch is served.
•           1:00 PM ET: Shotgun start.
•           Pricing: $800 per four-person team.
•           Inclusions: Registration fee covers tournament entry, lunch, an exclusive team gift, and additional interactive tournament-day experiences.
•           Auction Finale: The silent auction will officially conclude at the close of Friday morning's registration.
