October 30, 2024 | Field Hockey
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team (4-12, 3-4 MAC) will close out its 2024 regular season on Friday at Bellarmine (4-12, 1-6 MAC) for a "Friday Night Lights" game which will begin at 6 pm ET at Trager Stadium on the campus of Louisville.Â
Â
With the regular season coming to a halt, the Cardinals are looking to secure their spot in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament which will be held next week on the campus of the Miami RedHawks. Currently, Ball State is the fifth seed in the sixth-seeded tournament.Â
Â
Ball State and Bellarmine have met a total of eight times with the Cardinals leading the all-time series 5-3. Last year, the Cardinals fell to the Knights in Muncie by a score of 3-2 on Oct. 13.Â
Â
The Cardinals will see a familiar face on the sidelines at Bellarmine as the Knights head coach is former Ball State field hockey alum Devanny Boisvert who played for the Cardinals from 2008-2011.
