No. 14 Men’s Volleyball Welcomes Trine to Worthen Tuesday

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's volleyball team looks to remain undefeated on its home court of Worthen Arena Tuesday night at 6 pm ET when the Cardinals host Trine University.
Ball State owns a 6-2 overall ledger after earning a 3-0 sweep versus No. 17 UC San Diego last Thursday. The Cardinals also won two matches against Tusculum after posting a 3-1 victory on Friday night and a 3-0 defeat against the Pioneers on Saturday.
This will be Trine's first match of the season when it plays Ball State. The Thunder was selected fourth in the MCVL preseason poll. Recently, the Cardinals swept both matches at home against Wabash which is also member of the MCVL. This is the first-ever meeting between Ball State and Trine. The Thunder's first season of men's volleyball started in 2019.
After Tuesday, the Ball State men's volleyball team will compete at the First Point Volleyball Collegiate Challenge in Austin, Texas. The Cardinals will face the No. 13 University of Southern California on Friday, Jan. 19 at 2:30 pm ET and then close out play against No. 8 Stanford on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 5 pm ET.
