Cardinals head to Chicago for Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational

MUNCIE, Ind. – Cross country heads to Chicago for the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Friday, September 29. The 6k will begin at 10 a.m. CT.

The Cardinals are coming off a strong performance at the Mel Brodt Open in Bowling Green, Ohio. Sarah Mahnensmith led the pack, finishing 17th with a time of 21:54.1. Closely following were Shelby Christman and Carly Spletzer who finished 24th and 27th.

Ball State will meet 23 other schools on Friday, including Chicago State, College of DuPage, DePaul, Drake, Furman, Gonzaga, Illinois State, Indiana, Iona, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Loyola, Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, North Central, Northwestern, Ohio, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Saint Louis, Toledo, Tulsa and Wisconsin.

Following Friday's meet, the Cardinals will prepare for the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Illinois which will take place on October, 13.
