Cross Country Delivers Strong Performances at MAC Championship

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Ball State cross country team competed at the 2025 Mid-American Cross Country Championships Saturday afternoon at the Audubon Golf Course, placing 11th out of 13 teams.
Graduate student Carly Spletzer led the Cardinals' efforts in the 6,000-meter race with a finishing time of 21:32.90 to place 28th in the field of 109.
In their first MAC Championships, freshmen Emily Decker and Rosie Gonzalez turned in marks of 22:15.90 and 22:49.70, respectively.
Junior Kendyl Thrasher posted a time of 23:44.90 in the 6K, followed by Maci Hoskins who finished with a time of 24:34.50.
Mikayla Mimnaugh and Lelia Williams-Molitor capped off the Cardinals' performance with times of 25:17.20 and 26:16.40.
