Cross Country Ready for MAC Championship Race Saturday in Buffalo

The Ball State cross country team is set to compete in the Mid-American Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y.
The race will be a 6K at Audubon Golf Course and be hosted by the University of Buffalo. It is scheduled to being at noon, and links to the live results and the video stream can be found above and on the schedule page.
Ball State's competitors include freshmen Emily Decker and Rosie Gonzalez, juniors Maci Hoskins, Mikayla Mimnaugh and Kendyl Thrasher, senior Leila Williams-Molitor, and graduate student Carly Spletzer.
"We're excited to compete at the MAC Championship this weekend," said head coach Adrian Wheatley. "This is the moment we've been preparing for, and it's time to showcase the hard work and commitment we've put into each other over the past several months. It's time for the BIG SHOW, where they hand out hardware."
Spletzer paced the Cardinals in the last 6K race at the Bradley Pink Classic with a time of 20:59.8 to finish 14th in the field of 203 finishers.
