Men's S&D Places 13 On Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND - - The Ball State men's swimming & diving program placed 13 student-athletes on the 2022-23 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team as announced by the league office. BSU had the most athletes named to the All-Academic MAC Team and Miami followed with eight.

Of Ball State's 13 honorees, Noah Berryman, Bryce Handshoe, Zachary Moody, Landyn Riester, Patrick White, and Jack Wolfred finished their careers as a three-time Academic All-MAC award winners.

Two Cardinals are picking up the award for the second time in their careers in Isaac Hunter, and Sam Jennings.

Ball State also has five first-time honorees: Michael Burns, Alexander Eddy, Joey Garberick, Michael Mitsynskyy, and Ethan Pheifer.

A total of 39 student-athletes earned the Academic All-MAC distinction in men's swimming & diving by maintaining at least a 3.2 GPA and participating in at least half of the team's contests for the season. First-year students and any college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
