
T&F Ready for Final Meet Before MAC Indoor Championships

ALLENDALE, MI – The Ball State track and field team travels to Michigan to compete in the Kelly Family Sports Center at the GVSU Big Meet on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11. The Cardinals head into their last meet of the 2022-23 indoor season before the MAC indoor championships on Feb. 24-25.

The Cardinals are carrying some strong momentum heading into the GVSU Big Meet. Senior Charity Griffith earned MAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after her performance in the pentathlon at last weekend's Meyo Invitational. She set a facility and program record in the high jump event (1.88m / 6-2.0). Junior Jenelle Rogers placed third in last weekend's pentathlon with 3962 points.Â
The Cardinals have 15 student-athletes set to compete in 11 different events on Friday, Feb. 10. The Cardinals kick off the day at 1:30 p.m. with the 3000m run.Â
