Noah Berryman Named MAC Swimmer Of The Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - - Ball State senior Noah Berryman has been named the Mid-American Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week after his performance at the Valparaiso Aquatic Center last Friday.

Berryman led the way for the Cardinals in the 155-99 victory over Valparaiso, starting with a win in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.32). He would complete the event sweep later in the meet with a first-place effort in the 200 breaststroke (2:14.09). This was the first event sweep for Berryman on the season.

In the last event of the night against the Beacons, Berryman led off the 200 freestyle relay that finished with the fastest time (1:24.30).

Select members of the Ball State men's swimming program will return to action this weekend at the Ohio State Winter Invitational (Feb. 10-12) in Columbus, Ohio, and the divers will be competing at the Miami Classic (Feb. 10-11) in Oxford, Ohio.
