
Ball State Lands Micah Bell

MUNCIE, Ind. – Head Coach Michael Lewis and the Ball State men's basketball program added Micah Bell as part of the 2022 recruiting class on Wednesday. Bell is a high school graduate and will be eligible immediately.
Bell is a native of Austell, Georgia. He will provide depth for the Cardinals at the guard position. During the 2019 season, Bell was a Georgia First Team All-State selection and led the 4A Region in points. He averaged 19.2 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and added 2.4 steals per contest. He helped lead Chapel Hill High School to a 19-9 record.
Bell spent the last season at Link Year Prep and was a key guard for the Lions. For the season, he averaged 19.3 points per game and averaged 5.1 rebounds per contest. He shot 46.3 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from 3-point range. He was also an 83.5 percent free-throw shooter. He averaged 1.3 assists per game and finished with 0.9 steals per contest.
