Cardinals fly south for Hurricane Collegiate Invitational

Ball State travels to Miami (Fla.) for meet on Saturday
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State track and field team is set to make its furthest trip of the season when it heads to Miami, Fla. for the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational.
The one-day event, set to take place Saturday, March 26, begins with the javelin throw and field events at 10:30 a.m. ET. Track events begin at 2:05 p.m. with the 4x100-meter relay and ends with the 4x400-meter relay at 4:55 p.m.
The Cardinals are coming off their outdoor season opener when they established their baselines at Miami (Ohio) last weekend and will aim to build on those performances Saturday.
Following the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, Ball State makes a drive to Normal, Ill. for the Redbird Invite, April 1, hosted by Illinois State.
