Men’s Tennis Plays Three-Matches on the Road This Week

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team will be on the road for three-straight matches this week starting Wednesday at Butler for a noon first serve. The Cardinals will then play at Xavier on Friday at 1 pm ET and then IUPUI on Sunday beginning at 2 pm ET.
Ball State is coming off a 4-3 thriller at Dayton last Saturday. It comes to no surprise that the match would fall in the hands of graduate senior Chris Adams. Over the years, Adams has been clutch in these situations, and today was no different. Adams would take down Will Harper at the No. 4 position (6-4, 3-6, 7-6) to win the fourth and final point for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals enter this week's play with a 3-2 overall record while Butler is 3-4, Xavier is 4-2 and IUPUI is currently 2-7.
Last season, Ball State went 5-0 against all three schools after defeating the Bulldogs (6-1), Xavier twice (4-3 & 7-0) and IUPUI twice (7-0 & 6-1).
After this week, the Cardinals remain on the road at Illinois State on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 1 pm ET.
