Ball State has 22 earn Academic All-MAC honors

Cardinals honored for work in classroom
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Twenty-two members of the Ball State football program picked up recognition on the annual Academic All-Mid-American Conference list, the league office announced Tuesday.
It marks the third straight season under head coach Mike Neu that the Cardinals have produced at least 20 Academic All-MAC honorees.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
