Cardinals Host Query & Schultz at Scheumann Stadium for Thursday’s Football Opener
September 01, 2021 | General
From Midtown Indianapolis to Muncie.
That will be the trek for the ISC Sports Network duo of Jake Query and Derek Schultz who will host "Query & Schultz from The Scheu presented by Ball State Athletics and Northwest Bank" Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the lead-up to the Ball State football home opener vs. Western Illinois at Scheumann Stadium.
"Jake and Derek create some of the best sports and beyond content in Central Indiana and it will be a lot of fun to host them and the crew on campus," said Shawn Sullivan, associate athletic director at Ball State. "We look forward to sharing the stadium experience with the vast viewership ICS possesses."
Fans can view the program live via ISCSportsNetwork.com, Xfinity Channel 81 along with the ISC Network's Twitter and Facebook pages.
"We are thrilled to partner with Ball State Athletics to make this season kickoff all the more special," added Greg Rakestraw, Indiana sports media veteran and vice president of ISC Sports Network. "It's wonderful to have fans back at The Scheu, and given the success that Mike Neu's team had in the fall, expectations have never been higher for the Cardinals. We expect an electric atmosphere on Thursday in Muncie, and if Query and Schultz can help fan the flames of excitement, all the better."
Query and Schultz celebrate their one year anniversary being a part of the ISC Sports Network family this week. The talented duo joined ISC Sports Network following nine years of radio magic on WNDE in Indianapolis. Schultz is part of ISC on a full-time basis, serving as the director of content and managing ISCSportsNetwork.com. Query balances his time with ISC alongside his responsibilities on the IndyCar Radio Network, including serving as one of the turn reporters each May for the Indy 500.
ISC Sports Network is seen in over 50k homes across the state of Indiana on a 24/7/365 basis, and also partners with WNDY and Xfinity to reach over a million homes for select broadcasts. ISC produces hundreds of high school athletics broadcasts each year, including selected IHSAA state championship events. ISC also serves as the home of the Indiana/Kentucky All-Star Series, the IFCA North-South All-Star Classic.
For tickets to Thursday's game, fans are encouraged to call 888-BSU-TICKET or visit BallStateSports.com. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and can be heard on WLBC, 104.1 FM or viewed on ESPN+.
