Lukacs & Polishchuk Earn MAC Doubles Team Of The Week Honors

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State duo of Livia Lukacs (Pecs, Hungary) and Mariya Polishchuk (Moscow, Russia) garnered the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week honors, the conference office announced today.
The Ball State twosome paired up for the top court in doubles play Saturday at Youngstown State to capture a 6-1 victory over the Penguins' Elvira Esteo and Cecilia Rosas.Â
Polishchuk and Lukacs defeat over the Penguins claimed the doubles point for Ball State, giving the Cardinals the early 1-0 edge as both teams headed into singles action.Â
With the win, the duo helped the Cardinals to improve their overall record to 4-2 while also extended BSU's win streak to four.
