Five Cardinals Earn XC Academic All-MAC Honors

Five Ball State cross country student-athletes have captured Academic All-MAC honors for 2020. The list of honored Cards is below:

This is the third year Eckenroth has been Academic All-MAC in cross country and the second time each for Conner, Cunningham and Tarsa. As a sophomore, it marks Dean's first appearance on the list.
As a team, Ball State cross country had a 3.455 GPA and 11 Cardinals had at least a 3.5 GPA for the fall 2020 semester.
A total of 71 student-athletes earned the accolade on the women's side.The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. Freshmen and first-year runners were not eligible for the honor.Â
