Goyco Again The MAC Specialist Of The Week

For the third time this season, Claudia Goyco was voted by the league's coaches as MAC Specialist of the Week. Her floor routine on Sunday vs. Kent State tied her career high and helped Ball State pull out a team scoring win.
Goyco, from Buford, Ga., wowed the home crowd once again and scored 9.900 for the third time this season. Saving the best for last, her 9.900 and a 9.875 routine from Marissa Nychyk allowed the Cardinals for a comeback meet win over Kent State. You can watch a recent Goyco routine below:
Goyco has a 9.800 or better in all eight of Ball State's meets this season. She ranks 10th in the region in floor exercise and 48th nationally.Â
The Cardinals are at Northern Illinois Sunday, March 1 and compete at home vs. North Carolina Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
