El-Amin Voted Preseason 2nd Team All-Conference

Senior combo guard Ishmael El-Amin has been voted preseason second team all-conference in the MAC's preseason voting by coaches.
El-Amin, a senior from Minneapolis, enjoyed a breakout season by averaging 13.8 points per game and shooting .393 from 3-point range. El-Amin was voted third team all-conference at the end of last season.
He had four 20-point games and was second on the team in assists last season and started all 31 games to lead Ball State to an 18-13 season and a MAC West title.

El-Amin was voted as one of the top returning players by the conference's coaches alongside these other nine players:

The conference also released the results of the preseason coaches poll, where Bowling Green was voted to win the league.
