Opening Tip:
 Ball State is looking to remain undefeated at home in Mid-American Conference action Saturday when it hosts the Miami RedHawks in Worthen Arena at 1 p.m. Eighth-year head coach Brady Sallee has never lost at home to Miami and has won seven of the last eight meetings.
- Miami is looking to snap a four-game losing streak. The RedHawks have only earned one win in MAC action and then was against Northern Illinois on Jan. 8. Miami defeated NIU at home, 66-64.
- Saturday's game against Miami will mark the 68th time in program history the two schools have met with the RedHawks leading the all-time series 41-26. Ball State lost its only meeting to Miami last season in Oxford on Jan. 19, 2019 by a score of 57-60.
- Since the 1989-90 season, the Cardinals have won 17 of the last 27 meetings against the RedHawks.Â
- The RedHawks are the closest MAC school in proximity to Ball State. The distance from Millett Hall to Worthen Arena is exactly 76 miles door-to-door.
- The last time Miami won in Muncie was the 1997-98 season. That year the RedHawks defeated Ball State on Feb. 4, 62-71.
Moving On Up:
Junior forward Oshlynn Brown is moving up the all-time rebounds list at Ball State. She currently ranks 18th with 699 rebounds. Brown needs 11 rebounds to take sole possession of the 8th spot which is currently held by former Cardinal Porchia Green (2006-09) with 709 rebounds. Brown is also nearing the 1,000 point mark she currently has 901 points and needs 99 to accomplish that feat.
Scouting Miami:
 - Miami recently fell at Akron on Wednesday by a score of 70-62. Lauren Dickerson and Savannah Kluesner each scored 20 points against the Zips. Miami currently leads the conference in blocks (69), averaging 3.83 per game and second in offensive rebounds (251), averaging 13.9 per game.Â
- The RedHawks have a new head coach this season. DeUnna Hendrix became the ninth head coach in Miami women's basketball history last spring. Hendrix came to Miami from High Point University, where she was the head coach for seven seasons.
- Miami has three players averaging double digit scoring. Lauren Dickerson leads the way with 15.9 points per contest. Savannah Kluesner is the second highest scorer (13.9 ppg) but leads the RedHawks defensively with 8.7 rebounds a game. Rounding out the double-digit scoring is Peyton Scott with 11.9 points per game.

John E. Worthen Arena has been very good to the Cardinals for the past decade. Ball State has a record of 143-75 (.649) at Worthen Arena from 2004-present. In eight seasons Brady Sallee has compiled a 75-37 (.657)Â record in Worthen Arena. His best season at home was in 2017-18 when the Cardinals went 15-3 in Muncie. This year the Cardinals own a 6-1 ledger in Worthen Arena.
