Moritz Gives Cardinals Back-to-Back Golfers of the Week

Sophomore tied for fourth at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State's Hadley Moritz was named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week, as the Cardinals took home the honor for the second week in a row.
Moritz recorded her best career finish with a tie for fourth at Colorado State's Ptarmigan Ram Classic. The sophomore from Wheaton, Illinois, led the Cardinals to sixth place in a 13-team field that featured five top-100 squads and 12 ranked among the top 150.
She fired a three-round total of 220 (+4) to finish just three strokes off the lead and played her final 52 holes of the event in even par. It was the second top-10 finish in three events this fall for Moritz. She tied for eighth at Illinois State's Redbird Invitational to open the season.
Teammate Manon Tounalom was the most recent MAC Women's Golfer of the Week after leading BSU to the Cardinal Classic championship.
The Cardinals now have first, third and sixth-place finishes through their first three tournaments. Their 299.89 team scoring average is the program's best ever at this point in the season.
