Deans’ Shootout Set for Halftime of Feb. 26 Men’s Basketball Game

Bragging rights will be on the, er, free throw line Feb. 26 when the fourth edition of the Cardinal Deans' Shootout presented by Central Indiana Orthopedics is conducted at halftime of the Ball State-Toledo men's basketball game.
Deans, along with the provost, will partner with a student and try to connect on as many free throws as possible during the timed intermission contest. The duo with the most combined free throws made will be crowned champion and hoist the coveted traveling trophy which will be defended by current champ, the office of the provost.
"I can't wait to see this event for the first time," said Beth Goetz, director of athletics and fellow cabinet member with these individuals. "We are grateful for the council of deans and look forward to seeing our participants' respective 'fan bases' get to Worthen for a fun evening bringing the campus together through sport."
