Opening Tip:
- Ball State has been chosen to compete at the first-ever Women's Basketball Bahamas Hoopest Thanksgiving Classic where the Cardinals will face Lehigh on Thursday and Big Ten foe Wisconsin on Friday. The games are slated to begin at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Thursday's game will be the third all-time meeting between Ball State and Lehigh. The last time the two schools met was the 2002-03 season when the Cardinals defeated the Mountain Hawk's in Bethlehem, Pa. on Dec. 1 by a score of 94-71. Ball State leads the all-time series record, 2-0.
- Friday's game will be the third all-time meeting between Ball State and Wisconsin. The last time the two schools met also occured in the 2002-03 season when the Cardinals defeated the Badgers in Madison, Wis. on Dec. 5 by score of 82-81. The series record is tied, 1-1.
- Eighth year head coach Brady Sallee has defeated four Power 5 conference schools, including three from the Big Ten conference during his tenure at Ball State; Minnesota (54-51, 2012-13), Iowa (77-72, 2015-16), Vanderbilt (88-79, 2017-18) and Purdue (66-60, 12/4). The last time Ball State defeated a school from the Big Ten conference during regular season action was on Dec.4, 2017 when the Cardinals defeated Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., 66-60.
- Ball State went 2-0 last week at home in non-conference action earning victories over Big East opponents Xavier (70-49) and in-state rival Butler (74-70).
Scouting Lehigh:
• Lehigh women's basketball enters Nassau as the only remaining undefeated team left in the Patriot League after starting their season with an unblemished 5-0 ledger. The Mountain Hawks are looking for their first-ever win over Ball State.
• Camryn Buhr leads the Mountain Hawks in scoring averaging 16.4 point per contest and 8.8 rebounds while teammate Cameryn Benz is scoring 11.2 points per game and 7.4 rebounds.
• Sue Troyan is the head coach of Lehigh women's basketball and has been with the Mountain Hawks for 25 seasons.
• The last time Lehigh faced Ball State came in the final game of the Christmas City Classic which resulted in a 94-71 victory for the Cardinals in 2002 at Stabler Arena which is the home of the Mountain Hawks.

Scouting Wisconsin:
• Ironically, Wisconsin recently defeated Easter Illinois Tuesday night in Madison by a score of 63-55. Eastern Illinois is where Ball State head coach Brady Sallee came from as the head coach of the Panthers prior to becoming a Cardinal.
• The Badgers have four players averaging double figures with Imani Lewis leading the way scoring 14.4 points per contest. Suzanne Gilreath along with teammate Abby Laszewski both are averaging 10.8 points per game while Sydney Hilliard rounds out the double digit scoring with 10.3 ppg. Defensively, Laszeski is the leader pulling down 7.4 rebounds per contest.
• Right after the Cardinals had defeated Lehigh in their last meeting in 2002, Ball State played at Wisconsin on Dec. 5 at the Kohl Center, resulting in an 82-81 victory for the Cardinals.
• Jonathan Tsipis has been the head coach for Wisconsin since 2016.
