October 14, 2026 | Women's Basketball
MUNCIE, Ind. — For the fifth consecutive year, the Ball State women's basketball team is stepping onto the national stage. CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) has selected two of the Cardinals' upcoming 2026–27 match-ups for national broadcasts, featuring a marquee non-conference home game.
The national coverage kicks off on Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. ET, when Ball State hosts Power 5 opponent Louisville in a high-stakes showdown at Worthen Arena. The Cardinals will return to the airwaves on Jan. 31 for a fierce Mid-American Conference (MAC) rivalry game on the road against Miami.
This multi-game television package highlights the rising profile and sustained excellence of the program under head coach Brady Sallee. Now entering his 15th season, Sallee has established the Cardinals as a mid-major powerhouse. He stands as the program's winningest coach with a 290-162 (.641), recently leading Ball State to historic milestones including back-to-back MAC regular-season titles (2025 & 2026) and the 2025 MAC Tournament Championship.
The action starts November 2 at 6:30 p.m. ET as Ball State opens the season at home against Arkansas State in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.
