MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State soccer team opens the MAC Tournament Sunday in the quarterfinal round versus Eastern Michigan as it searches for its first ever MAC Tournament Championship.

ABOUT EASTERN MICHIGAN (6-11-2, 5-6-0-)
Eastern Michigan recorded a huge victory in its season finale, defeating Central Michigan, 3-1, on the road to clinch a spot in the MAC Tournament. Lindsey Shira leads the Eagles with a total of 15 points on six goals and three assists. Sabrina McNeill also has twelve points for EMU with six goals of her own this season. Mabel Dunn has seen the most action at the Goalkeeper position for Eastern Michigan with 13 appearances and 70 saves.
SERIES HISTORY
Ball State leads the all-time series with the Eagles 12-7-2. The two sides met earlier this season with the Cardinals narrowly taking home a 3-2 victory in overtime.
