
Ball State Travels to East Coast Looking to Build on Recent Success

MUNCIE, Ind. – With two straight wins over ranked opponents in its back pocket, the Ball State University men's volleyball team travels to the East Coast where it will take on Harvard and Sacred Heart as it looks to continue building upon its recently captured momentum.

ABOUT HARVARD (1-4)
Harvard opened the year with four consecutive losses before knocking off Sacred Heart in its last contest. The Crimson faced ranked teams UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Northridge to kick off 2019. They also squared off with the No. 1 team in the country, Long Beach State. Erik Johnsson has 43 kills to lead the way for Harvard.

Ball State leads the all-time series with Harvard by a margin of 4-1. The Cardinals and Crimson last met a year ago when BSU took home a 3-1 decision

Sacred Heart currently holds a 1-3 record and will face Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday before Saturday's contest with Ball State. SHU has lost to UC San Diego, Stevens Tech and Harvard while notching a win over St. Joseph's (L.I.). Emerson Waumans paces the team with 47 kills.
