- Ball State remains on the road against the MAC East Division when it travels to Miami Saturday for a 1 p.m. tipoff in Millet Hall. Â
- The RedHawks are the closest MAC school to Ball State in proximity. The distance from Worthen Arena to Millett Hall is exactly 76 miles door-to-door.
- Seventh-year head coach Brady Sallee has never lost to Miami during his tenure at Ball State, winning seven striaight over the RedHawks.

- The RedHawks are coming off of a 70-67 road win at MAC West Divsion rival Central Michigan Wednesday night in McGuirk Arena snapping a nine-game losing streak against the Chippewas. The RedHawks were led in scoring by Savannah Kluesner with 21 points.
- Miami is coming off of 21-11 campaign in 2017-18 under then first-year head coach Megan Duffy. Duffy enters her second season at the helm of the RedHawks . Prior to her appointment at Miami, Duffy spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Michigan Wolverines. Duffy was a four-year letterwinner at Notre Dame from 2002-06.Â
- The RedHawks have four players averaging double figures, Lauren Dickerson (13.8 ppg), Savannah Kluesner (13.5 ppg), Kendall McCoy (13.4 ppg) and Nia Clark (10.6 ppg). Kluesner also leads Miami defensively averaging 7.6 rebounds per contest.
