Women’s Basketball Welcomes Anya Coulibaly to the 2026 Roster

MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State head women's basketball coach Brady Sallee, who is entering his 14th season at the helm of the Cardinals, has announced the commitment of international prospect Anya Coulibaly (Sabadell, Spain) to the Cardinals' 2026 recruiting class.
Coulibaly comes to Ball State University after competing for the prestigious Elite Sports Academy.
"Anya brings the last piece of the puzzle for this year's squad," Sallee said. "She is a versatile aggressive big, that can stretch the floor and will be a great fit for us both offensively and defensively. We are excited to welcome her to Muncie."
During her standout final season in Spain's competitive club and academy circuits, Coulibaly established herself as a highly efficient front court presence. She anchored her team by averaging 14.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, while shooting an impressive 54.3 percent from the field. Her ability to dominate the glass and alter shots on the defensive end makes her an immediate asset to Ball State's roster.
Coulibaly completes this year's recruiting class as she joins previous signees, Faith Walker (York, Pa./West York), Helen Holley (Cleveland, Ohio) along with early commits Lillian Barnes (Valparaiso, Ind.) and Dutch standout Klaske Miedema.
