MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State football team welcomes Kent State to Scheumann Stadium Saturday to kick off Mid-American Conference play. This is the first meeting between the two teams since 2013.

Three Things to Know:
1. Ball State and Kent State are two of the top four rushing teams in the Mid-American Conference. The Cardinals rank second in the league in rushing (202.2 yards per game) while Kent State sits in fourth (181.8 ypg).
2. Junior WR Riley Miller finished with career highs in receptions (8) and receiving yards (112) last week against WKU. Meanwhile, senior WR Corey Lacanaria recorded a personal-high 99 receiving yards versus the Hilltoppers.
3. This week, the Ball State coaching staff will be wearing special arm patches in honor of the AFCA's Coach to Cure MD program. This is the 11th year coaches around the country join together to raise funding and awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. 4 – Sophomore OLB Christian Albright has registered four sacks in his career, and he has forced the quarterback to fumble on three of them. Albright has done it twice this season -- at Notre Dame and versus WKU -- and he also did it last season against Tennessee Tech.
