ADA: All games at Scheumann Stadium are accessible to wheelchairs and guest with disabilities. Please call the Ball State Ticket Center at 888.BSU.Ticket to make ADA accommodations. Wheelchair companion seating is also available inside the stadium.

ADA parking is located in the eastern most row of the 'Gold Parking Lot' as well as the eastern most row of 'Cardinal Parking Lot.' Individuals can park in either location with a valid handicap permit (license plate/mirror tag) along with a previously purchased football parking pass. If individuals do not possess a Ball State Football parking permit, the general $20 parking fee must be paid to park in any handicap parking space. Additionally, a shuttle can be arranged to assist fans from their vehicles to the stadium entrance gates by contacting parking attendants on the way into each lot.
ANIMALS: Animals are not permitted inside Scheumann Stadium with the exception of service animals with proper credentials.
BANNERS/FLAGS/SIGNS: Signs are permitted inside Scheumann Stadium, provided they are no larger than a standard piece of poster board and are in good taste.Â

BEER: Beer is available for those 21 and over at all concession stands.Â

BOTTLES/CANS/ OUTSIDE BEVERAGES: No outside food or beverages will be permitted inside Scheumann Stadium. This includes bottled water, cans or glass bottles
CAMERA & VIDEOGRAPHY POLICY:Â At Ball State University, we prioritize the comfort, safety, and experience of all our student-athletes, guests, and staff. As the University and Department of Athletics increase use of videography and photography to capture live events, including athletics competition, please note the following guidelines for photography and videography:
- Prohibited Equipment: The use of professional-grade photography and videography equipment by non-authorized personnel is strictly prohibited at all Ball State Athletics ticketed events. This includes, but is not limited to:
- DSLR cameras
- Lenses longer than 4 inches
- Video and motion picture cameras
- Lighting equipment and camera support pods

Authorized Personnel: Only authorized personnel are permitted to take photographs or record videos using professional-grade equipment. Authorized personnel include University staff and students with a game media credential and credentialed members of an approved media entity. Members of the media may request game credentials by contacting the Ball State Athletics communications office.
CHAIRBACKS: Outside chairbacks ARE PERMITTED inside Scheumann Stadium. Feel free to bring your own! The only restriction is that your chairback seat should not be so large as to interfere with the experience of your fellow Cardinals fans.Â
CHARLIETOWN: Join the Ball State Alumni Association and Ball State Athletics on the Alumni Center front lawn for CharlieTown Tailgates two hours prior to each of these home games: September 13 (Family Weekend), October 4 (Community Day) and October 18 (Homecoming).Â
Come support local businesses with food trucks, fun, entertainment, and camaraderie. Join the Ball State Spirit Squads and Pride of Mid-America Marching Band for a pep rally one hour prior to kickoff before heading into the stadium.


• All items a fan brings must fit inside the approved clear bag (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12").Â
• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, are permitted (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5").
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc or similar) are also permitted.
• Prohibited items include backpacks, fanny packs, purses, totes, and non-clear bags.
• Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items, as well as diaper bags, after proper inspection at designated entry points.
CODE OF CONDUCT: Spectators are not allowed on the field at any time. Fans are also prohibited from throwing items onto the field. Such behavior will result in removal from the stadium.Â
Ball State reserves the right to remove from individuals whose behavior disrupts players, coaches, officials or other fans. No refunds will be given in these cases.
Threatening or inconsiderate behavior such as profane and abusive language, use of tobacco, fighting, and drunkenness will not be tolerated and can result in ejection, arrest, and/or loss of season ticket privileges.

Standing on seats/bleachers, and throwing of any objects in the stands or onto the field, is also prohibited. Should you observe any of this disruptive behavior, please notify the nearest event staff member or law enforcement officer.

NCAA policy prevents fans from entering the field of play unless they are properly credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Violators are subject to arrest.
CODE OF CONDUCT ENFORCEMENT: Students involved in prohibitive or disruptive behavior will be subject to disciplinary action through the Dean of Students Office and Ball State Student Code of Conduct. Students enjoy the rights and privileges that they gain as a member of the university community and are subject to the responsibilities which accompany that membership.
Ball State Athletics reserves the right to remove the ticket holder from the premises if in the sole opinion of the security personnel his or her conduct endangers or disrupts the players, coaches, officials, or fans. Ball State Athletics thanks you for your support.

ELEVATORS: An elevator to access club, suite and press box levels is located on the concourse between gates two and three on the west side of the stadium. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be taken on the elevators from the suite and club levels down to the main concourse.

FIRST AID/MEDICAL SERVICES: First Aid is available from on-site EMTs. If medical emergencies occur during the game, please contact the on-site security staff. Location Gates: Gates open 90 minutes prior to kick-off. Fans may enter through Gates 1-4 on the West side of the stadium or Gate 5 on the East side of the stadium.

PARKING:Â
All parking lots will open four hours prior to kick for home games during the 2025 season.Â
- Parking is available to all fans in the Green lot ($20.00). Green Lot parking is CASH ONLY on game day, but you may purchase a mobile pass in advance via the links below:
- Sept. 13 vs. New Hampshire, Time 2:00 PM - Lots open 4 hours prior to kick
- Oct. 4 vs. Ohio, Time 12:00 PM - Lots open 4Â hours prior to kick
- Oct. 18 vs Akron, Time 3:30 PM - Lots open 4Â hours prior to kick
- Nov. 5 vs Kent State, Time TBA - Lots open 4Â hours prior to kick
- Nov. 15 vs Eastern Michigan, Time TBA - Lots open 4 hours prior to kick
- RV's, buses, oversized vehicles and vehicles pulling large grills will be assigned to this lot near the baseball field ($40.00). Overnight parking is prohibited in all game day lots.
- Free Parking is available near Worthen Arena and Foster Adams Family Complex at Bill Richards Tennis Courts.
- Season ticket holders are given a complimentary parking pass for the Premium Lots (Gold, White, Cardinal and Purple) based on their annual contribution to the Cardinal Varsity Club.Â
- Please contact the Cardinal Varsity Club at (765) 285-8120 or by emailing cvc@bsu.edu if you are interested in upgrading to a premium parking spot for the best tailgating experience.
- Drop Off: Need to drop someone off at the game? Enter the stadium complex via Bahlmann Way (aka Alumni/Donor/VIP Drive) off Bethel Ave. and drop off at the Alumni Center circle area.
- Traffic Advisory:
- Arrive Early. Traffic can be heavy on Bethel and McGalliard.
- Tillotson Avenue will be closed to thru-traffic at McGalliard Road and Bethel Avenue approximately four hours prior to every Ball State home football game. Indiana State Police are stationed at McGalliard and Muncie Police are stationed at Bethel for this closure. Emergency vehicles will be allowed access as needed during this closure. The road will open after the game starts and will remain open until the 4th quarter when it will close again until exiting traffic clears the area. Call the Ball State University Police at 765-285-1111 to report any issues or concerns during these times.
For example, if you make an $1000 donation to receive a White parking pass, you are eligible to purchase additional White, Cardinal or Purple parking passes.

PROHIBITED ITEMS:Â Certain items are prohibited inside Scheumann Stadium. This list includes artificial noisemakers such as cowbells, air horns, umbrellas, etc.; any outside food or drink, including alcoholic beverages, cans or coolers; animals or pets (excluding service animals); and professional-grade photography and videography equipment.

RESTROOMS: Restrooms can be found in the northeast and northwest corners of the stadium on either side of the hill, on the concourse under the west side grandstand or behind the east bleachers.
SMOKING POLICY: Ball State University is a Tobacco Free Campus, which includes the ban of electronic cigarettes. This policy is in effect at all Ball State Athletic facilities, including Scheumann Stadium. We request and appreciate your adherence and compliance with this University policy. Game Day Staff will be monitoring for those in violation and request such action be ceased. Violators are subject to ejection.
SOLICITATION: No unauthorized solicitation on Scheumann Stadium grounds unless approved by Ball State Sports Properties.
SPORTSMANSHIP POLICY: The Mid-American Conference and its member institutions promote good sportsmanship by their student athletes, coaches and fans. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racist or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, players, coaches, or team representatives will not be tolerated and is cause for removal of Scheumann Stadium.
STUDENTS: Students can attend all Ball State Sporting events for free by showing their student IDs at the gate. Student seating at Scheumann Stadium is located on the east side bleachers with entry at Gate 4 and Gate 5.
TAILGATING: Tailgate Town, located adjacent to Shebek Stadium, features on-site activation from corporate partners.

- One vehicle per parking space. ​
- For those 21 and older, responsible alcohol consumption is permitted in designated locations and all individuals must present identification to appropriate law enforcement or university personnel when request to do so.
- All beverages should be in aluminum cans, plastic bottles, or paper or plastic cups. Glass containers are not permitted.
- Kegs or hard liquor are NOT permitted.
- Drinking games and drinking apparatuses are NOT permitted.
- Couches and other indoor furniture are prohibited.
- RV's, buses, oversized vehicles and vehicles pulling large grills will be assigned to a parking site in the baseball parking lot.
- Trash receptacles will be placed throughout the tailgate area for both garbage and recyclables.
- Portable restroom facilities are available in the tailgate area.
- Tents measuring larger than 10 X 10 are NOT permitted.
- The tailgating area will be cleared at the start of the game and two hours following the game. All activities must cease at those times.
- Threatening or inconsiderate behavior such as profane and abusive language (or music), use of tobacco, fighting, and drunkenness will not be tolerated in the parking lots and can result in ejection, arrest, and/or loss of ticket privileges.
- No structures are permitted in the tailgate area (stages, platforms, rigging, etc.).
- The use of amplification equipment including but not limited to music, DJ's, and voice amplification devices is prohibited.

- Children 2 and under do not need a ticket, provided they sit on another guest's lap and do not occupy another seat.
Lost or Stolen Tickets

Please contact the Ball State Ticket Center at (765) 285-1474 for replacement tickets as soon as possible if your tickets have been lost or stolen.
