The Cardinals finished 12th in the 16-team field, led by the team's lone senior Timothy Wiseman in a tie for 26th at 1 over par. Keegan Bronnenberg made his Ball State debut with a 3-under-par 69 in the opening round and eventually wound up one shot behind Wiseman.
At the Trinity Forest Invitational
Wiseman led the Cardinals last season at Trinity Forest with a tie for 29th. He finished at 3 over par for the tournament. Cunningham is the only other member of this week's lineup who competed at Trinity Forest last year. Florida won the 2017 event and is back to defend its title this year.
