Men’s Swimming and Diving Place Six on Academic All-MAC Squad

CLEVELAND, Ohio –The Mid-American Conference announced the 2017-18 Men's Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC Team Monday afternoon. The Ball State Cardinals had six athletes receive the honor.
There were a total of 63 male athletes named to this year's team with Eastern Michigan leading the conference with 15 receiving the award. The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Below is the list of the members of the Ball State men's swimming and diving team named to this year's Academic All-MAC team:
Ben Andrew, Sophomore, 3.325
Gabe Dean, Junior, 3.20
Jack Luddy, Sophomore, 3.507
Alex Nickoli, Junior, 3.572
Alec Tuthill, Junior, 3.323
Isaac Walling, Senior, 3.345
