November 28, 2018 | Men's Swimming and Diving, Women's Swimming and Diving
MUNCIE, Ind. – As the Ball State University swimming and diving team prepares for its final competition of the year at the Miami Invitational, the squad will be looking to gain some momentum for the new year as 2019 and the MAC Championships quickly approach.
The Miami Invitational will run from Thursday (Nov. 29) through Saturday (Dec. 1) at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Live updates will be available via the link below:

The Cardinals will be attempting to turn things around after both the men and women dropped contests at Grand Valley State the last time out. The women finished with a score of 124.4-175.5 while the men lost by a tally of 96-199. On the meet, coach J. Agnew said, "We put together a string of several good training weeks, however, this meet told us we are ready for a little rest. The team fought hard and we had a few highlights with wins from Peighton Gilbert, Rachel Bertram, Audrey Schank, Hunter Ongay and Sean Wolfe, but we are all ready for a little recovery and looking forward to the Miami Invite in 2 weeks."
The invitational will be big for Ball State as the team won't compete again until the men host Evansville on Jan. 18 and the men and women celebrate their seniors the following night against Miami.
A recap of each day's events and results will be posted to BallStateSports.com at the conclusion of the sessions.
